About chainpool

The group has a plan.
The money should too.

Trips, birthdays, team dues. People put money together every day. Somehow, one person still ends up holding the pot, chasing payments, and keeping the spreadsheet.

chainpool is building a shared pool with the agreement attached. Members decide who can spend, which payments need approval, and what happens to the money left over. Smart contracts are intended to enforce those choices, so organizing the group doesn’t automatically mean controlling its money.

Useful. And actually enjoyable.

Collecting money should feel like part of the plan: watching the pot fill, giving a friend a nudge, reaching the goal together. The experience should carry some of the energy of the thing you’re saving for.

Start with friends. See where it goes.

Social Pools come first: trips, gifts, events, and shared purchases. Clubs, communities, and other ideas can grow from the same tools. The first use cases are a beginning.

chainpool is in development. Accounts and financial services are not available through this site.
